Archaeology Talks 2019: World War I

The First World War affected all who lived through those terrible years and the people of Worthing were no different. This talk will look at both the military and social aspects of the war, covering the training of soldiers on the Downs, the battles fought by the Royal Sussex regiment and the problems on the Home Front.
