Sussex Makers 2019

A diverse range of contemporary art and craft returns to WMA this year with even more variety.

A selling exhibition featuring thirteen local artists and makers exhibiting ceramics, jewellery, painting, printmaking, textiles and drawing.

Following the success of the Sussex Makers exhibition in 2018 we invited the exhibitors back in 2019, and also invited some additional local makers to join this selection. We are aiming to make this an annual exhibition consisting of a variety of highly skilled art and crafts created by a range of local makers. This year beautifully decorative and atmospheric paintings by Sin Mui Chong-Martin and contemporary, distinctive ceramics by Jessica Jordan are among some of the new exhibitors to the Sussex Makers 2019 exhibition. We welcome back the bold and geometric paintings by Alan James Mcleod as well as Annie McCabe’s bright, lampworked glass jewellery.

Other artists and makers are: Barry Williams, Christine Forbes, Lumi Ghita, Shona Macdonald, Bob Kershaw, Peon Boyle, Sarah Mills and Sarah Sepe.
